Our Review Process

After receiving a correction request, our editorial team may:

  1. Review the disputed information.
  2. Check the sources used in the article.
  3. Examine the evidence provided.
  4. Compare the claim with reliable and current sources.
  5. Correct, clarify, update, or remove the information when necessary.

Submitting a correction request does not guarantee that content will be changed or removed. All decisions are based on available evidence and editorial review.

Significant Corrections

When a meaningful factual error is corrected, we may add a note to the article explaining what was changed and when.

Example:

Editor’s Note: This article was updated on [Date] to correct information about [brief description].

Minor Changes

We may correct spelling, grammar, formatting, broken links, or readability issues without adding a correction notice.

Updated Information

Some information may have been accurate when originally published but later became outdated. In these cases, we may update the article and display a new “Last Updated” date.

Net-Worth Corrections

Most net-worth figures are estimates based on publicly available information. We may revise an estimate when reliable new evidence becomes available.

We do not change net-worth estimates based only on unsupported claims, requests, or information without credible documentation.

Removal Requests

We review removal requests individually. We do not accept payment to remove accurate information, change factual reporting, or increase or decrease a person’s estimated net worth.

Transparency

Worth Beacon does not accept payment in exchange for altering factual content, suppressing valid corrections, or publishing misleading financial claims.
